Look Alive

In the final week of Jesus' life on this earth, Jesus found a beautiful fig tree full of leaves. He checked the tree for fruit and found none. So Jesus curses the fig tree. The curse of the fig tree was an indictment, not against the tree, but Israel. Jesus came to his people and found no fruit. The tree was an object lesson for Israel. So where do we stand as Jesus inspects our tree? Is there any fruit in the tree? Are you really alive in Christ, or just a pretty tree with no fruit?
